On March 31 2007, more than 2 million Sydney households and businesses turned off their lights for one hour - Earth Hour - sending a powerful national and global message that it's possible to take action on global warming.

Earth Hour 2007 was a Sydney event. At 8pm on 29 March 2008, Earth Hour goes global, with more than 24 global cities taking stand against the greatest threat our planet has ever faced.

So, do your bit and turn out all the lights for 1 hour on 29 March . Yea, 60 minutes of darkness, no tv, no web surfing and mosquito bites. But this act helps promote electricity conservation and thus lower carbon emissions. Remember, you don't have to spend energy to help the environment, you just need to save it.

"save the energy, save the world".
be one of the "HEROES". XD.
